About Me.

Cassidy Burns is a passionate and versatile filmmaker with a sharp eye for design and a deep love for visual storytelling. She began her creative journey in Broadcasting, earning national recognition with a National Student Emmy Award (2019) for her piece Hot Glass Alley.

Transitioning into Film and Television, Cassidy has contributed to over 40 short films, immersing herself in a variety of production roles before finding her true calling in the art department. Her work is driven by a fascination with texture, material, and immersive world-building.

In 2022, Cassidy was awarded “Best Production Designer” at the 13th Annual Controlled Chaos Film Festival for her standout work on Between the Earth and the Sky. She loves exploring different genres and brings a mix of creativity, problem-solving, and flexibility to every project she works on.
